Information
Founded in 1909 the club has established itself as the "Premier" Snapper Club of Victoria. It has been home to many generations of families. The club has taught many hundreds of people how to fish, supported families in distress, and helped one another in times of need.
Club Information
Club General Meeting and New Member Welcome Night Wednesday June 6th. @ 8.00pm
Our next General Meeting is going to be a very enjoyable evening with all our new members invited to come along to meet our committee members and other attending members.
Presentation of our Club Rules booklet will be made and our very special guest speaker for the evening will be Damian Garipidis, President of the Elwood Angling Club who will talk on the ever increasing popularity of Kayak fishing. He will also bring along his Hobie Kayak which has been set up for fishing and which, we are sure will be of interest to all attending
Members "Lucky Member Draw"
Colin Macleod a regular Friday night member has just won this weeks prize of $2,900.00.
The Jackpot on Friday, May 25th. 2012 starts again at $500.00
Details are as follows:
1. Full and provisional members are entitled to participate in the draw (junior members are excluded)
2. The draw is held each Friday (excluding public holidays) at 7.00pm
3. The winning member must be present at the Club when the draw is undertaken
4. In the event that the winning member is not present, the prize will jackpot by $100 per week, and will jackpot to a maximum amount of $5000.
5. The draw is funded by a raffle on the night.

Volunteer Request
Do you have some free time to spare? Are you able or willing to learn to pour a beer? Do you have a fun personality?
If you can answer yes to all three questions please see KJ or Paul as your Club needs you.....We currently looking for members old or new to donate some of their time to help out with the day to day bar duties. If you are interested please speak to or phone the Club on 96905530 as soon as possible.
Boat Gantry Open And Fully Operational
Boat Hire
3 Club Boats may be hired by members, who have completed a boat launching test, for $25 per day for two people, plus $5.00 for each extra person. Bookings with Ron Amy on 9645 2649.
Bait
For members, a limited bait supply is available to be purchased from the club. Go to the bar to organise the purchase.
Keys
All members are entitled to a key to the upstairs area (apart from bar). Only boat owners will be issued with a key to the boathouse.
Club Meetings
A club meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month (excluding January) at 8.00pm. All members and associate members are invited to come. The bar operates before and after the meeting with free snacks after. Look to e-news for details of any guest speakers.

New Members Access Cards
New members access cards are available for pick up from the club office. The Access cards also carry new members $100.00 credit and, allow this to be used for purchase of drinks and food at the club.
Member Handbook
It is intended that this booklet will prove of value to new members of the Club as an introduction to some of the traditions, rules and activities of the APYAC with the view to helping new members take full advantage of Club facilities and our angling, boating, and social programs.

Club Constitution
Members may read the constitution at any time. Copies are on hand at the club.
EO Policy
The club has an equal opportunity policy. A copy is on display in the main hall.
Visitors
Members may introduce visitors to enjoy our facilities. However the same person may only be signed in on a maximum of 3 occasions.
Dress
Members are expected to maintain an appropriate dress standard.

Vegetarian Meals:
Please notify the club prior to planning to dine with us or when booking a table so we can arrange for the chef to have a meal available.
Bookings:
Due to heavy Summer bookings all members are strongly recommended to book well in advance of their proposed visit. Late bookings cannot be assured of a table on their night of choice. Members are also reminded to place their meal order early or understand that with the size of our kitchen a delay of an hour or more on busy days is to be expected.
Table Clearance
All members are kindly requested to clear their table of plates and glasses once they have finished dinning and/or drinking at the club.
